Leaders blogging?

I think blogging would be a great way for leaders to communicate with faculty openly about anything not just school related.  Maybe use it as a way to get to know the principal.  Maybe even open that up to kids and parents, a way to communicate on their level. Especially students that are so familiar with blogging.  Why not open up dont create that principal "isolation".

  1. You are so right when you mention principal isolation. A principal blog could open the campus to stakeholders in the community that normally do not have access to the school. We all know there are many people that support schools long after their children have come and gone. I think these are the people who would benefit the most from a principal's blog.

  2. I think your idea is a good one but you need to be cautious as well. So many things can be misinterpreted when communicating thru technology. We've all experienced that at one point.
